Layton Kelly was once in a very dark place in his life, and had absolutely no expectation that there was anything else in store for him other than addiction to drugs and alcohol. But the totally unexpected initiative of a person who asked him “what can I do to help?”, set him on an amazing journey to recovery and freedom.
Layton spoke to Wendy about how getting involved in drink and drugs during his teenage years took him down a dark path of addiction, crime and hopelessness, how his life was turned around by such a seemingly simple question, and about his own rehabilitation programme, New Hope Residential Centre.
