Sister Helen Préjean, author of ‘Dead Man Walking’ was instrumental in securing a last minute stay of execution for death row inmate Richard Glossip, who she believed is innocent, on 16th September 2015. However yesterday the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals ruled the state could proceed with Richard Glossip’s execution on Wednesday 30th September.
