Our Vision

Spirit Radio Program

Upbeat and uplifting, entertaining and inspirational, Spirit Radio plays the best contemporary Christian music – plus a selection of positive mainstream hits. Presenters highlight stories that show how faith in God makes a real difference. Spirit’s news and talk has Christian voices speaking on the issues of the day. Regular contributors include, David Quinn Iona Institute, Stephen Cardy – Focus on the Family, Dr Berry Keily from the Pro Life Campaign, Political Analyst Susan Philips and Therese Daly – home help advisor.

Now in 5 Cities – Going National

Spirit is currently broadcasting in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford. Plans are in place for the launch of an AM broadcast which will extend coverage to rural Ireland and parts of Northern Ireland. In the coming 12 months Spirit plans to launch on FM in another 15 population centres.

Growing, Active Listenership

Indepentant surveys by RedC and AskChili commissioned by Spirit Radio in February 2012, indicate that our listenership is growing faster than anticipated. The research points to a weekly listenership of  165,000 people across the nation.

Christians – Working Together

Spirit Radio is bringing Christians together from a wide range of backgrounds.  At the heart of the Christian Gospel is the message that God has sent his son Jesus Christ to redeem us and bring us into a relationship with himself – this is the Good News that Spirit Radio seeks to bring to homes, cars and offices across Ireland.

Not for Profit – With Charitable Status

We are motivated by a desire to serve the community. Our board of directors are unpaid and represent a broad spectrum of the Christian community. Spirit Radio is a registered charity CHY 17448
