‘A Celtic Tapestry’ Concert

A Transatlantic Musical Evening brings together four ensembles from Ireland and the United States for a one-night-only performance at St. Canice’s Cathedral on 18 June 2026. The New Caledonia Folk Orchestra and Heartland Harp Ensemble USA are travelling from the US to perform alongside Kilkenny’s Lady Desart Choir and Music Generation Waterford Harp Ensemble.

All ticket proceeds go towards the Lady Desart Choir’s performance at Carnegie Hall, New York in January 2027 – itself a story with a remarkable Kilkenny connection, as it was Lady Desart herself who gifted the site for Kilkenny’s first library to Andrew Carnegie over a century ago.
