The public is invited to audit this one-week elective module on ‘C.S. Lewis and the Bible’. The lectures will explore Lewis’s understanding of the Bible and how this informed his writings.
It will be taught by Dr Leslie Baynes, associate professor in the Languages, Cultures, and Religions Department at Missouri State University, and author of the acclaimed 2025 book, Between Interpretation and Imagination: C.S. Lewis and the Bible.
The lectures are scheduled on Monday, 16 March, 9:30-11:30; Wednesday, 18 March, 9:30-12:30; Thursday, 19 March, 9:30-12:30; and Friday, 20 March, 9:30-11:30. No lecture is schedule for Tuesday, 17 March, St Patrick’s Day.
