Alex Cooney, CEO of CyberSafeKids, Ireland’s online safety charity, talks about the return of its annual CyberBreak campaign.
Families are being encouraged to switch off their smart devices for 24 hours, from 7pm this Friday until 7pm on Saturday, and take a break from screens.
The aim is to get families thinking about their relationship with technology and how they can build healthier digital habits.
Alex explains why this initiative matters and how parents can help children navigate an increasingly online world.
