Details
In Kildare Town, County Kildare, Féile Bríde 2026 will take place from Friday, 31st January to Sunday, 2nd February 2026 at the Solas Bhríde Centre & Hermitages — the heartland of Ireland’s celebrations for St Brigid.
This annual festival honours the life, spirit and enduring legacy of St Brigid of Kildare, inviting visitors of all ages to explore heritage, creativity and community through a varied programme of events. From hands‑on St Brigid’s cross weaving workshops and reflective pilgrimages on Brigid’s Eve, to peaceful walks, storytelling and seasonal music performances, Féile Bríde blends tradition with inspiration in a welcoming setting.
A highlight of the festival is the Global Pause for Peace at noon on Sunday, 1st February — a powerful moment when people locally and around the world pause for one minute of reflection and prayer for peace.
Whether you’re interested in Irish culture, spiritual reflection, family‑friendly workshops, or simply enjoying community gatherings, Féile Bríde offers a warm and meaningful way to celebrate the approach of spring and the values of compassion, creativity and peace.
