Fr Lawrence Carney Speaking Tour

Fr Lawrence Carney, international Catholic author and speaker, will be visiting Ireland from 25 to 29 September, on a speaking tour hosted by Human Life International Ireland. The tour will bring Fr Carney to a number of venues around the country, giving people an opportunity to hear him speak on Catholic faith, prayer and the spiritual life. One of the scheduled events takes place on Saturday, 26 September, at the Horse & Jockey Hotel in County Tipperary, from 6:45pm to 9:15pm.

The Irish visit forms part of Fr Carney’s wider ministry, with events taking place in different locations during his time in the country. His talks focus on encouraging Catholics to deepen their faith and prayer life, with his ministry particularly associated with devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus, evangelisation and public expressions of Catholic faith. Human Life International Ireland is also involved in promoting the Holy Face devotion through prayer initiatives and events across Ireland.

The tour offers an opportunity for people across Ireland to come together for an evening of Catholic teaching, prayer and encouragement, rather than being simply a one-off local event. With several stops during Fr Carney’s Irish visit, the organisers are inviting people to find a venue near them and take part in this special opportunity to hear an international Catholic speaker in person.
