Ablefest 2026

Ablefest has become one of Ireland’s most inspiring success stories, growing from an idea
between two dads into the country’s largest inclusive music and arts festival for people with
additional needs, their families and friends.

Co-founded by Shay Casserly and Kevin Farrell in 2018, the festival has helped break down
barriers to participation while creating a truly accessible and welcoming experience for
thousands of people.

Shay joins us now to talk about the journey so far and the future of inclusion in Ireland.
