Stronger Together: The Life and Work of Sister Lena Deevy tells the story of a woman from Crettyard in County Laois who became a Little Sister of the Assumption, worked for many years in Ballymun and went on to become a leading advocate for Irish immigrants in Boston.
Joining me to talk about the book and Sister Lena’s extraordinary life are Dominic Cogan and Chandra Manning, the authors of Stronger Together.
